What is a “driver”?
A driver is a software that causes your computer hardware, such as your monitor, to be able to communicate with your operating system, Windows 10. Updating drivers can resolve the pc freezing randomly issues you are experiencing.
Step 1: Open Device Manager
- Press Windows + X > Click “Device Manager”
Step 2: Look for Yellow Warning Icons
- Focus on Display Adapters, Network Adapters, Storage Controllers
Step 3: Update Drivers
- Right-click each > Update Driver > Search automatically
